Our Mission:

To create a nationwide network of wheelchair accessible trails that re-connect people with impaired mobility to nature.

The First Mile was laid during the summer of 1999 at the Audubon Nature Preserve in Fairfield, CT. The Edna Strube Chiboucas Special Use Trail was officially opened on November 27, 1999.
